This one-hour session is typically adequate for the assessment of children with speech delays, early language delays or early literacy difficulties.
For children needing school-age language assessments, please choose an assessment package listed below instead of 'Initial Consultation'.
Following an initial consultation session, a short summary will be provided by email within 7 days.
A 30-minute session, only available for new clients who come with a recent comprehensive speech pathology assessment report. This time is allocated to:

Assessments are tools used in conjunction with observations to determine what skills your child has success with and what areas may need further support. Qualified Speech Pathologists use assessment tools to better understand your child’s learning profile and create a pathway for success.

$270 (Standard) 1-hour session with the Speech Pathologist (initial screening assessment + summary report)
$120 (Short) 30-minute initial consultation session with the Speech Pathologist
Assessment packages available are inclusive of an initial consultation:
$480 Formal school-age language assessment (up to 1.5-hour appointment)
$640 Formal school-age language and/or literacy/speech assessment (up to 2 hours appointment - broken up into 2 x 1 hour sessions)
All types of assessment packages include:
-Initial consultation with family
- Direct assessment time with your child
- Analysis and written report
- Feedback of assessment results and recommendations
Therapy is tailored to each individual child and progress is closely monitored and reviewed in consultation with the parent/care giver.
Therapy session options include:
$120 30 minutes of direct time with Speech Pathologist
$165 45 minutes of direct time with Speech Pathologist
$120 therapy progress / summary report (Billed at hourly rate) - NDIS Plan Review Report
Your child may be eligible for a referral from your GP which can provide access to up to 5 Medicare rebated sessions per calendar year.
Depending on your level of private health insurance cover, you may be eligible for some financial support for speech pathology services.
